Speakers: 
Sam Achampong FCIPS, Regional Director, CIPS Middle East & North Africa (MENA)
Sam is a procurement professional with extensive experience in Procurement and Supply Chain management across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He has held Senior Procurement and Strategic Sourcing roles for organisations such as Majid Al Futtaim, Abu Dhabi Municipality and Nakheel in the Middle East; MTN across Africa; and Land Securities in the UK. An active member of the procurement fraternity in the MENA region, Sam is Regional Director of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) for the Middle East & North Africa Region. He holds a Masters Degree in International Procurement from the University of Glamorgan (Wales), MSc in Facilities Management from the University of Westminster (England) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. He is a regular speaker at industry events and an advocate for professional standards in procurement and supply management.
 
Luke Johnson, Divisional Sourcing Director, MEA CBRE Global Workplace Solutions
Luke is a procurement professional with experience of working in UK, Asia, Middle East and Africa. He has particular experience in Facilities Management procurement, having worked in the industry most of his career. Luke is experienced in learning new markets, achieving tangible results and leading procurement teams.
He has held progressively senior roles and advanced to his current position as Sourcing Director for Middle East and Africa, working for CBRE, the world’s leading real estate and facilities management company. Luke has held his MCIPS status since 2011 and in 2016, achieved the new CIPS level of chartered status. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in e-Business from the University of Liverpool.
 
The AGM will start promptly at 7pm with refreshments from 6.30pm
