6:15pm:       Keynote Speaker: Dr. Anirvan Ghosh, Senior Vice President, Head of Research and Early Development, Biogen

                        This year marks the 40th Anniversary of Biogen, a global biotechnology company focused exclusively on neuroscience. Dr. Ghosh will discuss the Past and Future of neurological disease treatment.

6:40pm:        Panel Discussion:  EVEN Better in Toronto:  What is the Neuroscience opportunity for the Toronto Region?

 

How have things have changed and evolved in neuroscience over the past four decades?  How has the role of patients evolved and what has been the impact on them and their families?  What are the trends that will shape neuroscience research and treatment in the future and what role will partnerships within this ecosystem between research, clinical, commercialization and patients play. Finally, what can we do here, to create the right ecosystem and environment for the emergence of our own global neuroscience biotech?
