This course is for elected officials and community & government professionals charged with managing and regulating eroding beaches. Many communities have tasked staff without formal training in coastal processes to manage their coastlines. Other professionals just want a refresher. Not only do we discuss applied coastal management topics in a classroom setting, but we also visit and ongoing beach restoration project and even a working dredge!
