Last summer Pennsylvania led the nation with Lyme disease cases. Nearly 1/3 of all cases nationwide are reported from our state. If not diagnosed and treated early Lyme can be serious, but infection is avoidable. Learn how to prevent tick bites, how to recognize Lyme symptoms and what to do if you’ve been bitten. Presented by Bridget McEnrue, BSN, RN, CIC, Director of Infection Prevention at Doylestown Hospital and Evelyn Throne, Co-Founder of Bucks County Lyme, a Region of the PA Lyme Resource Network. Registration required: (215) 672-1870 or www.DoylestownHealth.org. In cooperation with Doylestown Health Connection
