This free talk is open to anyone with an interest in walking/climbing/snowshoeing in snow covered mountains. 

Thinking of visiting Scotland for walking/climbing this winter? Maybe venturing to the Alps? If so, you need to keep yourself safe in avalanche terrain. This 90 minute talk will focus on pre-planning, preparation and awareness. Talk is given by Ronan Mullen, who holds the professional 'International Mountain Leader'. The award along with extensive winter experience gives Ronan the insight and expertise in avalanche safety, assessment and rescue.
