Bed Stuy / Central Brooklyn homeowners are invited to attend a presentation by Center for NYC Neighborhoods, Brooklyn Legal Services and Brooklyn DA on how to guard against mortgage fraud, fake mortgage rescue services, and deed theft. The event is sponsored by Attorney General Letitia James in collaboration with U.S. Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, Senator Velmanette Montgomery, Assemblymember Tremaine Wright, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez and Councilman Robert Cornegy.
