This year VBS will look different as we try to keep large groups from gathering to slow the spread of COVID 19. We are taking the following steps:
- Children will be in groups of 10 or less and will be placed with other people in their family versus split up by ages.
- All volunteers will be wearing masks. Children will be asked and encouraged to wear masks as well but we know younger children may struggle with keeping them on.
- We will check temperatures at the start of the day.
- We will use canapy tents outside and have the teachers rotate to the children.
- Extra cleaning and sanitizing will happen before, during, and after VBS.
- Food served will be prepackaged.
- If your child or anyone living in the home has been exposed to illness, has a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or runny nose please keep them at home. Please let us know if you would like the VBS content provided in place of attending Bible School.
