The purpose of this meeting is to provide a forum for municipalities to share effective practices for asset management in an informal and supportive environment. There will also be an opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners about building a strong municipal asset management culture, linking climate change considerations with asset management, and setting levels of service for parks/recreation facilities.
This workshop is free for municipal staff who directly or indirectly work on asset management. We encourage cross-functional representation, including: treasurers, public works staff, engineers, planners, administrators, and corporate asset managers.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Parking ($1/hr) close to the Brantford Public Library is available at the Market Centre Parkade, 59 Icomm Drive.
Asset Management Ontario (AMONTario) is a centre of excellence and innovation for public sector asset management across the Province of Ontario. It is a multi-disciplinary community of practice for public infrastructure stewards to strengthen asset management capabilities through practices that align international standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices to optimize public services.
