ASHRAE Tri-County November 19th Meeting

We are excited to invite you all to our upcoming Tri-County ASHRAE meeting on November 19th at the Claim Jumper in Rancho Cucamonga CA. 

 Topic Overview:

Acoustics 101” 

The presentation will provide an overview of architectural acoustics with respect to HVAC equipment noise and vibration control. Audio demonstrations will be included.

Speaker Bio: 

With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Rich Silva worked briefly in his chosen field before merging his interest in engineering and music into an architectural acoustics career.  Once in the consulting professions, Rich first landed in New York, relocating to Southern California in 2007. 

He has provided the acoustical design for a broad range of projects including corporate campuses, courthouses, worship spaces, schools, universities, residences, and studios. He is particularly experienced in field investigations with significant hands-on experience troubleshooting noise and vibration issues. Music remains a focal point for Rich, who currently plays drums in the Irish Pub Rock band “Green Ashes” with his Veneklasen Associates’ colleagues.
