We are excited to invite you all to our upcoming Tri-County ASHRAE meeting on March 19th at the Mimi's Cafe in Rancho Cucamonga CA.

Topic Overview:

The topic at this meeting is "Cognitive Bias & Heuristics."  What on Earth does that have to do with HVAC&R?  No matter what role each of us plays in this industry, we have something else in common:  We are all decision makers.  This seminar will focus on how the human brain is wired to make decisions, and how we can learn to be more effective critical thinkers.

Speaker Bio:

Dave Abuza is the Regional Applications Supervisor for ACCO Engineered Systems.  He has eight years of experience in commercial HVAC design and construction.  Dave graduated with honors from Cal Poly SLO in 2011 with an MS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in HVAC&R.  Dave is a registered professional engineer in California & Nevada, a LEED Accredited Professional, and has been an ASHRAE member since 2009.
