We will be going over real-life case scenarios for both dry and wet AMD, understanding how they affect retinal layers and the management options for each case scenario. We will be concentrating on the differential diagnosis of AMD from other conditions using fundus pictures and concentrating on clinical features.

6.1.9 To be able to distinguish between wet and dry AMD from clinical signs and findings and be able to manage such patients including giving appropriate advice/recommendations (“in practice” options) and referral when necessary (for medical treatment)

3.1.5 To be able to investigate macular function through visual field assessment with Amsler charts, and interpret the results

8.1.3 Understands the difference between dry and wet AMD, their clinical signs, findings, management and treatment options
