This workshop will help arts leader understand how cultivating and nurturing relationships in an intentional and meaningful way can help to sustain their organization’s programs and infrastructure by providing simple steps to create a plan, set appropriate goals, identify potential supporters, cultivate supporters and see relationships through to the ask for support and beyond. This workshop is for arts professionals who seek to build appropriate, sustained relationships with individual donors, institutional funders and potential supporters of all kinds. The Relational Fundraising and Development Workshop will help board leaders understand the important difference between development and fundraising and ways to make the board a far more active and potent force for your organization.

  • Learn about a framework for thinking about relationships as a sustainable strategy for generating resources to support your group’s art
  • Take away practical tools that you can adapt to fit your organization’s needs, goals, and audiences
  • Network and learn from peer arts professionals from across the Triangle
