This event will focus on atrial fibrillation (AF) and anticoagulation medicines and is being run in conjunction with Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

The evening will include information on what is AF and why identification is important, appropriate anticoagulation treatments and in particular the role of pharmacy in anticoagulation with particular reference to how NMS and MUR services could support patients.

Dr Kevin Barrett, Chair of the Watford and Three Rivers locality, and Clinical Lead for the Planned & Primary Care Programme at Herts Valleys CCG and Nicola Headland, Senior Pharmaceutical Adviser, Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Team will be presenting at the event.
