Anime Dojo

Platinum City Gaming and BMG Events would like to present our first Anime cosplay event called Anime Dojo. Anime Dojo dives into the culture of anime by bringing the world of anime to PCG. At this event, we will be packed with different cosplays, activities and vendors all focused on the many themes of your favorite anime worlds. This will be a great time to expand your friendships by meeting new people with the same interest as yourself and socialize in a great atmosphere.  

Included the admission into the event, you get to play on our large selection of video game consoles. From the retro NES, SNES, Sega all the way up to the latest Nintendo Switch,  PS4, and Xbox One, you get to game from almost every generation. 

To make the event even more exciting we are filling up the time with tons of activities. We will be hosting trivia where you can show off your anime knowledge and impress others with how much you know at the same time get yourself some prizes.  Along with trivia, we will be having Jackbox Games throughout the night. To add to the flavor we will also be doing karaoke all night long. If there is a song you want to show off your singing abilities to, put in your request and perform center stage. 

On top of all those, we will be hosting a Dub-Over contest. With this contest, you and your team will do your own English dub over an anime scene pre-chosen. Then at the end, the crowd will choose our winners. If you ever wanted to be a voice actor for an anime, here is your chance!

**Dub-Over Contest:

• Start Time: 9 pm
• Teams of 2
• Clips will be present-day of the event
• Winner will be determined by crowd

**Costume Contest:

 -Times: 10:30 pm

 -Props allowed

 -No real weapons or functioning projectile weapons – including

  guns, crossbows, swords, ninja stars, water pistols, silly-string

  guns, etc.

 -All fake and prop guns must have an orange tip, whether glued

  plastic or painted.

 -Metal weapons and objects that are deemed harmful towards

  attendees (sharp weapons and props) are prohibited.

 -No explosives or flash pots

 -Weapons must be easily distinguishable from real weapons.

 -security and staff reserve to right to refuse any weapon or costume accessory/prop into the show at any time.
