Space Communications – and Did John Glenn Really Say, “Can you hear me now?”
Fri, Nov. 13, 2020 @ 10:00 AMHe may not have said that to Command Control during his first orbits around the earth but we’ve probably all wondered how we can communicate with astronauts on the moon when we sometimes can’t get a cell signal here on earth. We’ll explain how earth-to-space communications evolved, what its limitations are, and how it is something to wonder at especially with NASA’s far, far away interstellar exploratory rovers. All this with the backdrop of the local area’s past connections to the space program. Class size limited to 10 - register early
