For so many of us, conflict is typically something to be feared. This is because we often don’t know what to do when we see signs of it in meetings and in our work with collaborators and stakeholders. Yet, the longer we go without addressing rising conflict, the farther away we move from each other and the most stuck we become in our positions.  Respecting our differences isn’t enough! The work of the leader is to get the conflict out into the open and use it skillfully as a source of creativity and as a catalyst for learning and growth.

Co-Resolve is an adjunct of Deep Democracy, a meeting facilitation methodology that offers a way for people to come into conversation around complex issues and divisive or stuck dynamics, to generate personal insights and uncover innovative possibilities for moving forward.

Participants will be introduced to the following:

  • A practical model for diagnosing early stages of emerging conflict in groups
  • A simple 4-step approach to facilitation productive discussions and avoiding common pitfalls in group communication
  • An alternative decision-making mechanism for groups and individuals that is more efficient than a vote and less time-consuming than consensus building
  • A model for inviting and hosting a group debate as tension arises in conversation

The webinar will also touch briefly on an effective approach to dealing with a polarized issue one-on-one with a colleague, client, or partner.

*Please note that the webinar details will be included at the bottom of the order receipt that will be received via email after registering.
