Agile Thinking

This course provides an understanding of what it means to be agile with a hands-on insight into how agile teams work.

Understanding the intent behind the agile values and principles is the key, but just like the problems that the manifesto tries to address, it suffers from being communicated in only written form.

We often comment that the beauty in the manifesto is that it just comprises four values and that the problem with the manifesto is that it just comprises four values. So, while on the surface it seems pretty simple, you need to dig a little deeper to really understand the intent.

Agile thinking is more than just learning the fundamentals or foundations of being agile, it's about tuning your brain so that agile becomes second nature - just the way in which you do things.

The course focuses on gaining a concise and robust understanding of agile. It examines how we think as individuals, as teams and as organisations and allows participants to start to challenge their current approach to problems and provides a platform to think in a more open and honest way.

No two courses are the same - the learning objectives of our agile thinking courses are always the same but the way in which people on a particular course learn to think agile may differ.

It's for people, teams and leaders new to agile, those that have learnt an agile aligned framework or technique but maybe just can't get it to work, in fact anyone who wants to work more efficiently and effectively.
