Beth Goodrich:

Beth holds her BM in Music Education from NYU, and her Master's in Educational Theatre from Adelphi University. She’s taught for 20+ years in public schools as a chorus and general music teacher. Simultaneously, she ran the after school theatrical programing where she directed multiple musical theatre productions for Jr. High and High Schoolers. Following that, she became an adjunct instructor at Five Towns College where she taught chorus, sight singing, piano, ear training, and instructed the private vocal lessons. Many years later, Beth retired from teaching publicly and transitioned to adult theatre education. She found her passion in teaching adult cabaret after she saw many of her adult students truly come to life through music. She always says, "Your moment is now, life is not a dress rehearsal". She comes from a diverse performing background as well. Her one woman cabarets were a hit at Don't Tell Mama in NYC, titled "To Life and Love", and "I'm Still Here". Off Broadway, she played a leading role in "The Golden Apple" at The York Playhouse. Regionally she has performed in "Company" (Joanne), "The Music Man" (Mayor's Wife), "Annie Get Your Gun", "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", "West Side Story", and "Once Upon a Mattress". Lastly, she directed "Dreamgirls", "The Best of Broadway Review", "Oklahoma", and "The Boyfriend". When she's not behind the piano or performing, you'll find her traveling the world —anything by the beach— or with her grandchildren. They are the most important to her!
