Advanced Silver Techniques: Flat Construction Ring with Tube Setting

Monday mornings 9:00 am to noon, 6 weeks.

This fun to make wrap-style ring is versatile, suitable for men and women, and is easily modified to fit your own style. Students will learn to construct the basic wring, modifying with sawing and forging techniques. A faceted stone in a tube or collet setting will highlight the finished ring.

Basic ring blanks and stones will be provided in a materials kit, available for purchase on the first day of class. Class will be limited to five students.

Classes are conducted by volunteer members of the Oxnard Gem & Mineral Society, under the the auspices of the City of Oxnard, Dept. of Recreation.
