Classes are held Monday Evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. This class meets for 8 weeks.
Instructors, Brett Allen Johnson and Carolyn Howe

Take your lapidary skills to the next level. Dimensional carving, fetishes, opal triplets and other types of lapidary craft will be explored. This is a self-guided workshop rather than a class Projects will not be taught.  Use of the OGMS classroom equipment and our knowlegeable OGMS instructor will help you to explore lapidary carving to find your own voice in this exciting artform.

18 and older please. Attendees must have completed a minimum of two full sessions of Basic Lapidary class, and be well versed in the basic concepts of lapidary craft and use of machines.


There will be a $10.00 fee for materials charged at the first class.

Opal rough will be available for purchase in the classroom.

 A minimum of 3 persons must register for this workshop, or it will be cancelled.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation of your registration before the Start of the session will incur a $5.00 fee. If you cancel after the close of registration no refund will be made. No credit will be given for missed classes or late starting dates. Instructors are not able to change this policy.
