Personal Finance 

In this interactive workshop, students will gain a greater understanding of the finances of car ownership.  Students will gain knowledge about: 

•Credit Scores - what affects a credit score, and why credit scores are important

•Understanding the cost of buying a car.  Loan rates & How a credit score affects car loans, etc. (Interactive)

•Factors affecting car insurance rates.

 

Students check-in between 5:30-6:00 pm

6:00-7:25 Workshop

7:25-8:00. Dinner served, door prizes, and closing

The Adulting Series program consists of 4 separate workshops that cover a variety of topics and aims to de-mystify what can make "adulting" seem so scary, thereby preparing teens for the challenges that come with life beyond high school. Each workshop incorporates a unique theme that offers an in-depth look at potential careers while supplying teens with the essential guidance that will set their futures on the fast track for success.
