Wild Edible Workshop Partial Approval - $35.00

Wild Edibles-Workshop will be hands-on culminating with a wild lunch prepared by participants. Learn how to utilize the plants and roots discussed in Wild Walks. Taste the wild. Bread made from red clover and dandelion, milkweed dishes, pesto from pesty weeds, white pine cookies, burdock dishes, design your own tea, and other delights. Workshop will be from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Instructor: Pat Banker

Soap Making with Attagirl Soaps Partial Approval - $35.00

This class will be using the modern method of making soap, the hot process method, using crock pots to create a shampoo bar. Start with an introduction to modern soap making with a brief history lesson on how we used to do it. Then, using the hot process method, students are led, step by step, through the soap making process. Each student walks away with 2 shampoo bars. Students will learn about the oils used in soap, their properties and how it affects the end product. They will learn about the differences between the two methods of making soap, when and why to use each one.
