Show your support for The Open Road Foundation while enjoying a one-of-a-kind behind the scenes experience at The Star in Frisco, home and headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys. Tour the Cowboys practice facility followed by dinner and drinks, featuring former Dallas Cowboys star Drew Pearson. Funds raised in this private and exclusive event benefit the Open Road Foundation which was established in 2008. The Foundation provides victim assistance, educational scholarships, and charitable grants to various causes in support of professional truck drivers and those supporting the trucking and logistics industry affiliated with eligible companies operating in the United States. The Foundation is a Texas non-profit corporation and is organized as a public charitable foundation under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Our special guest, former Dallas Cowboys Receiver and Future Hall of Famer Drew Pearson. He was a wide receiver who spent his entire 11-year NFL career as a member of the Cowboys and won Super Bowl XII. He later became a respected sportscaster for networks like HBO and hosted The Drew Pearson Show on Fox Sports Southwest. He is a member of the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor and a nominee for the NFL Hall of Fame.
