The C.G. Jung Foundation Board of Trustees' Fourth Jungian Wine Fundraiser is Tuesday June 6, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  It will be held at the Jung Foundation, 28 East 39th Street.  Tickets are $50 early bird and $60 at the door!

Our special Mandala Image Exploration Evening will give you a chance to express spontaneously a significant image similar to Jung's sketches in his Black Books that evolved into the magnificent Red Book.  

There will be wine and light appetizers too!

Come and experience Dr. Jane Selinske speaking about Jung's Red Book: Artist, Mandalas and Active Imagination Revealed.

Spontaneous Mandala Image Exploration

Jung's Red Book ~ Artist, Mandalas and Active Imagination Revealed. 

The Red Book revealed Jung to be a very gifted artist and calligrapher, and it is apparent that there have been influences on his art. This lecture will discuss Jung's experiences and influences regarding mandalas, artists, travels and associates, and his movement towards symbolic art. 


Jane Selinske, Ed.D., LCSW, NCPsyA-LP, BC-MT, is a licensed Jungian Analyst in private practice, a practitioner of Mandala Assessment, and a Board Certified Music Therapist. She is past Vice President, Director of Training and Coordinator of the Referral Service at the C.G.Jung Institute of New York where she is a faculty member and current Chairperson of the Thesis Committee.  She is Vice President of the Board of the C.G. Jung Foundation and on the Editorial Advisory Board of Quadrant:The Journal of the C.G. Jung Foundation for Analytical Psychology. She is also a faculty member at the Institute for Expressive Analysis, New York, New York. Dr. Selinske was a docent at the Rubin Museum of Art during the first exhibition of the Red Book, a participant in the Red Book Dialogues and a presenter at the RMA film discussion series.  She is a frequent lecturer and workshop facilitator. Her private practice is in Montclair, NJ.
