Several million head of wild Texas cattle were gathered and driven to the railheads of central Kansas beginning in 1867. This is a synopsis of the evolution of the trail that became known as the Chisholm Trail. Presented by Wayne Ludwig, volunteer and resident historian at the National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum in Fort Worth.
