Mindfulness meditation is quantified as having lasting positive effects on well-being, health, quality of life, performance and happiness, as demonstrated by a plethora of academic research across fields such as psychology, neuroscience and physical medicine.
Mindful Meditation is the practice of training attention to come back to the present moment, non-judgmentally. It’s simple and anyone can do it.
Our mindfulness courses are based on the well known Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at UMASS Medical College. Our courses include components of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Positive Neuroplasticity and Mindful Self Compassion (MSC). And specifically addresses how to better manage stress and skillfully deal with challenges. You will learn all core mindfulness practices including mindful movement, walking meditation, yoga, kindness meditation, breath meditation and body scan. All courses receive small group tuition, plus a half-day retreat (offered in week 5, Sat 2-6pm), audio lessons for home practice, a workbook, and loads of support as you develop a personal mindfulness practice.
