A one-day hands-on program on basic principles of fracture fixation and practical in fixation techniques in the hand and wrist on cadaveric bones.

Limited to 20 places only
At the end of this course you will be able
1. to understand the biology of bone healing
2. to confidently insert a lag screw,
3. insert a DCP for transverse facture and
4. to apply a modified Suzuki frame as a dynamic external traction device.
5. Understand principles of rehabilitation and splinting
Format
High faculty to participant ratio with practical skills on simulated vrcatures in cadaveric bones with lectures, video and manual.
