On behalf of the VACAPAF Leadership Team, I invite you to join us at the 79th Virginia Association of Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (VACAPAF) Convention. We will convene this event on November 12-13, 2021 at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Crystal City, Virginia. This year’s theme is “Leading With A Visionary Mindset.”

As a District, we are continuing to grow and build eminent goodwill in the communities we serve. We embrace the principles that govern our organization, and the programs that enriches the community-at-large. Since 1943, the Virginia Association of Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has promoted our organization mission to develop leaders, promote brotherhood, academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.

Attendees can look forward to a hybrid, two-day convention with an innovative public engagement and education program, focused business sessions, fraternal training, college brother’s competitions, an array of vendors, and a celebratory Black and Gold Awards gala in recognition of achievements by our brothers and chapters. Most of all, we will have the opportunities to engage, meet, and collaborate with brothers. The conference will begin on Friday evening and end on Saturday evening.

Brothers, as we lead up to the convention, I would encourage you to periodically visit our event website at http://www.vacapaf.org/ for schedule modifications and other items that you may find useful while preparing for and attending the convention. The Brothers of Area 4 look forward to seeing you in Crystal City.

VACAPAF is the 7TH District within the Eastern Region of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated (“AlphaEast”). VACAPAF represents 35 alumni and college chapters in the State of Virginia. VACAPAF emphasize the aims of the fraternity – Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for all Mankind through the national programs, community programs, academic achievement and recognitions and events. VACAPAF is recognized as an outstanding organization within the District in AlphaEast and nationwide with the general Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. organization. The mission of VACAPAF is to provide the brotherhood the best tools, training and support to accomplish the business of the fraternity and service to their communities.
