3 Day Damascus Knife Class
Learn the art and science of pattern welded steel in this intensive, 3 day damascus knife making course. Students will create their own billet of pattern welded damascus steel, and forge the created material into a completed knife. The class completes with the final polishing and assembly of the blade and grip material, and the creation of a custom leather sheath.
While this is the most comprehensive knife making class presently available, no prior experience is required.

-All tools required will be provided to each student.
-All students should bring a packed lunch, and any snacks or drinks that will be required throughout the day. Bottled water will be provided.
-Safety equipment is highly recommended (Eye protection, breathing protection, gloves, etc.) but can be provided to each student if required. Eye protection must be worn at all times.
-All students should dress in natural fiber clothing (no synthetic materials, etc.) and should dress in multiple layers dependent upon the seasonal temperatures at the time of the scheduled class. Hard soled shoes or boots should also be worn. No open toed footwear. While the facility is climate controlled, ventilation is often required. Please dress accordingly.
-Classes typically begin at 9AM and continue until approximately 5PM on and scheduled class day.
