Tuesday, 30 August 2022 5:30 PM - 6:45 PM EDT

Roger Williams University School of Law, Ten Metacom Avenue, Bristol, RI, 02809, United States.

Women's Fund of Rhode Island and the League of Women Voters are pleased to host a gubernatorial forum to hear how candidates for the Governor of Rhode Island answer questions related gender and racial equity policy. This is a non-partisan event, and invited candidates for the office of Governor will discuss their ideas and solutions for creating a more equitable state where everyone can thrive. The forum will be hosted by WPRI Weekend Evening Anchor and WFRI volunteer, Chelsea Jones. Due to the short format of the program, there will be limited opportunity for questions from the audience. Please feel free to forward your questions ahead of time to info@wfri.org, no later than Aug. 27.

This is a live event to be held at Roger Williams University School of Law. The main auditorium holds 198 people and there will also be an overflow room to watch the event. We also plan to live-stream the event on Facebook. Please only RSVP if you want to have a physical seat at this event. We will be following current COVID precautions so please plan accordingly.

Please let us know if you would like to request any special assistance needs related to this event by emailing info@wfri.org or calling us at 401-262-5657 at least 24 hours prior to the Forum.

Thank you to Roger Williams University for hosting our event!
