The Emerge Center invites you to join the 2021 River Wealth Institute - Financial Wellness Program
The Emerge Center is committed to addressing the most pressing needs of communities by equipping, empowering and educating. The River Wealth Institute serves as a catalyst to increase financial literacy and wellness in the community by providing information and resources to help individuals and families understand and improve their finances. Economic stability and education, two of the five social determinants of health in the US, are critical to the sustainability of families and communities.
The River Wealth Institute (RWI) Financial Wellness Program is a one-year experience designed to help you improve your financial know-how and improve your economic stability by providing information, practical strategies and local resources. Through this program you will be able to understand and improve your finances and prepare for your future.
Important Program Dates
Mandatory RWI Orientation: Thursday February 04, 2021 6:30PM - 7:30PM
Three Phase Program: February 06 - November 4, 2021
Phase I - RWI Financial Literacy (February 06 - March 13): Classes will be held every Saturday from 11AM – 2:30PM, for six consecutive weeks. Phase I courses run as follows:
- Entrepreneurship Track: 11AM - 12:30PM
- Personal Finance Track: 1PM - 2:30PM
Phase II - River WIFI (April 08 – May 13): Graduates of Phase I attend panel discussions with reputable businesses and certified professionals who can provide practical guidance and solutions related to their finances every Thursday from 7PM - 8PM for six consecutive weeks.
Phase III - River 3D (September 09 – November 4): Graduates of Phase II will have the opportunity to dive deep into an area of interest related to financial wellness or career development while being coached by professionals.
