Each participant must register separately. Must have own horse and 1-2 years riding experience in Judged Western or Speed. Fee includes 2-days of instruction, lunch and light snacks each day. NO REFUNDS

This program is aimed at individuals wishing to improve their overall horsemanship and riding skills, with an emphasis in Judged Western and Speed classes.

Registration is open to Galveston County 4-H youth from April 5-April 19 and will then be open to youth (9 yrs old) and adults until registration deadline. Must have 1-2 years riding experience in Judged Western and/or Speed classes.

Participants must provide their own horse for the duration of the school. Ownership of the horse is not required. Proof of a negative EIA test (Coggins) conducted within the past 12 months will be required for any horses brought to school.

Instruction is anticipated to be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. More details to be announced mid-May.
