Southside and WITVA is pleased to announce a call for entries into "20/20 Visions" juried exhibition. The exhibition will be in the newly renovated and reopened historic South Side School, which is now serving the community as the South Side Cultural Arts Center.The "Best in Show" winning artist will be awarded $500 and an solo exhibition opportunity.
Timeframe: Application deadline is February 3, 2020. The payment and application must be recieved by this date. You will recieve a receipt from your payment and receipt after your email with the attached JPEGS has been reviewed.
Eligibility:The exhibition is open to all artists working in all hangable art media, including but not limited to painting/drawing, printmaking and photography.
Jury Process:A panel of judges representing South Side and WITVA will select 13 -16 pieces in a blind two step jury process. Accepted artists will be notified by February 15, 2020.
Entries:There is a non-refundable Jury fee: $35 for WITVA Members and $40 for non-WITVA members.
Each artist may submit up to two works.
How to Enter:
1) Make payment HERE.
2) Email JPEG images of your work to 2020WITVAVISIONS@gmail.com by February 3, 2020. Put in the subject line 20/20 and your last name (example: 20/20 SMITH). The ditigal image should only be of your artwork (no frames or easels). Label each jpeg 20.20_Your Last Name_Title of artwork.
In the body of the email please indicate if your paid by credit card or check.
3) You will recieve a receipt from your payment and receipt after your email with the attached JPEGS has been reviewed.
