North Kansas City Hospital, 2800 Clay Edwards Drive , North Kansas City, Missouri, 64116, United States.

My dear colleagues,
As you each are well aware, we have a pandemic in our midst. As prudent healthcare clinicians, I know you each understand the potential severity of COVID-19 and the importance of social distancing. As good stewards of health it is imperative we all support the recommendations being made by the CDC. Due to the National State of Emergency, we all most certainly can agree it is in the best interest for us to postpone our conference so we can protect the patients of North Kansas City as well as our attendees from any unnecessary possible exposure to the disease.
Your planning committee is currently working on alternative dates later in the year or cancelling the event completely. We have a call later in the week to work through the details, as you can all imagine, we have worked very hard on planning this event but certainly are in complete agreement, the priority for April 24 is the health of Kansas City. Please watch for correspondence regarding rescheduling, refunds, and more information. Thank you for your patience as we work through this unforeseen situation.
