We're excited to once again present Stillwater Medical's Annual Critical Care Conference. This premier education event has grown so much over the past three years; we've had to move to a new location (again).

This lab will cover procedures such as intubation, surgical airway, chest tube, and IO insertion as well as hands-on anatomy manipulation. Each of these hands-on lab sessions will have 15 spaces available, providing a 5-student and instructor per cadaver. Sign up early as spaces fill up quickly! Additional fee required for this lab.

Through hands-on practice, students will gain competence in cannulating vessels under direct ultrasound visualization. Each of these sessions is limited to 8 attendees. No additional fee.

Amanda Celii, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, she completed her general surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg and completed her Trauma Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Dr. Celii is board certified in general surgery and critical care surgery. Her areas of expertise include trauma surgery, acute care surgery and surgical critical care. She also serves as the Associate Director for the Trauma Post-Acute Care Unit, Associate Director of Trauma Outreach and Education and the EMS Trauma Liaison at OU Medicine. Dr. Celii is currently the Fourth-Year Surgery Clerkship Director for the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and is the 2018 recipient of the Russell G. Postier Resident Teaching Award.
As a general surgeon, Dr. Pence is focused giving people hope for a healthy future. Her surgical specialties include minimally invasive surgery, vascular, and thyroid. Patients rave about her personal warmth and compassionate care. Dr. Pence received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University. She then earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Pence spends time with her husband and three children. She is actively involved in the Stillwater Area United Way and in her spare time, she also enjoys playing racquetball and has a deep love of reading.
