About the Event

 

JOIN OUR RPIC Region IX CONFERENCE IN HAWAII

SEPTEMBER 16 - 18, 2019

 

CalCAPA is excited to host our conference welcoming national partners, stakeholders, state associations, and state offices from across the region. Attendees are provided the opportunity to learn how training and techincal assistance programs, needs assessments, and state training plans can benefit them. This Regional Performance and Innovation Consortium Region IX conference will be full of enlightening information as we all work to providing needed resources to change lives and promote self-sufficiency!

The contributions made by National Community Action Partnerships to help improve training and techincal assistance are treasured.

HOTEL RESERVATION INFORMATION

CalCAPA has reserved a room block at the Ala Moana Hotel for a discounted rate on September 14th to 19th, 2019. We strongly encourage you to share the room with someone, if you have a preferred roommate, please inform us and we will coordinate. Note: We only cover the charges of room for three nights on September 15th to 17th. 

The room block is now open, please contact our Events Manager; events@calcapa.org, to reserve your room before September 12th, 2019.

 

 

TRANSPORTATION

 Unfortunately, there is no hotel shuttle to and from the airport, however there are two different companies, Roberts Hawaii and Speedi Shuttle, that serve all of Waiki. The cost is approximately $16 per person per way. There are no reservations needed upon your arrival, however reservations are REQUIRED for your depature with 24 hour notice. 

Taxi costs are approximately $35 one way, so we recommend sharing a cab. 

 

OFF-SITE DINNER PARTY

CalCAPA and HCAP have reserved tickets at Germaine's Luau for our luau dinnner show on Tuesday, September 17th. Round-trip transportation will be provided. We are offering discounted tickets for the 'Original Backyard-Style Hawaiian Luau' package which includes full service bar,, unlimited complimentary soft drinks, hot coffee and tea, spectacular Polynesian revue with thrilling fireknife dance, royal court presentation, Imu ceremony and great photo ops with cast! 

Round-trip transportation will be provided. Please make sure to bring your camera and photo ID!

CANCELLATION POLICY

CANCELLATIONS

No refunds will be given to those who register for the conference but do not attend. Another attendee may be substituted. CalCAPA will retain all registration fees, including outstanding balance purchase orders and billable(s) if cancellation is not received in writing.

 

REGISTRATION FEES COVER

Admittance to sessions, partial sleeping rooms and food/beverages offered.
