On behalf of the BC Taekwondo Federation, I would like to welcome everyone to the 2019 BC Masters Cup Championships. We are proud to have our event in the beautiful city of Burnaby. I would like to personally welcome all of our honoured guests from all over B.C. and all athletes and guests from out of town. Like all tournaments here in B.C., competitors will be able to showcase their hard earned skills and spirit as true Taekwondo martial artists. 

This year's BC Master's Cup tournament will be a major provincial tournament before the 2020 Canadian National Championships. I am confident that our athletes will proudly represent our province and bring back medals for their hard work. All competitors are encouraged and reminded that their achievements are the result of hard work and dedication which will then open many doors in the sport of Taekwondo and all other endeavours.
I would like to thank all the Masters, Officials, volunteers, our committee members, and all supporters for your dedication and commitment in preparing this year's B.C. Masters Cup Championship Tournament.

$75 for 2 events for early registration (before Oct 20th midnight PST.)

One event (Pattern or Sparring) : $80.00
$95 for 2 events for late registration (Oct 21st to Oct 22nd midnight PST.)

Championship Schedule : Poomse will start at 9:00am, Senior Team Trials will start at 10:00am, General sparring will commence at 1:00pm.

Black Belt Weigh-in: Metro Taekwondo Studio 5:30 - 7:30pm Friday Oct 25th. For senior black belt only - 1kg allowance. All others to weigh in at the venue on Saturday morning.

Registration Deadline Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019, 12:00 midnight, Pacific Time. Note: The 2019 B.C. Masters Cup Championships is online registration only. There will be no refunds. No handwritten applications will be accepted. To register, please go to: www.tkdregister.com/2019masterscup/

Spectator Fee Family: $10.00 Adult: $5.00 Children under 6: FREE

Equipment: Chest protector, Head gear, Groin cup, Mouth guard (clear or white only), Arm/Shin guards, TKD uniform is mandatory.
Headgear colour must match the chestgear (white & black acceptable). All black belts require KP&P E-Socks.

Please see your School Master to purchase these socks as they are available at select suppliers.

Sparring Rounds :   Color Belts - 2 rounds / 1 minute Black Belts - 2 rounds / 1.5 minutes, Senior Black Belts - 2 rounds / 2 minutes

All COLOR BELTS - NO FACE KICK ALLOWED
UNDER 12 BLACK BELT - NO FACE KICK ALLOWED
12 and up (cadet +) black belt - face kick allowed. Cadet protective rules will apply.

Awards 1ST / 2ND / 3RD MEDALS

Qualifications  As according to the WT Taekwondo Federation of B.C. Constitutional bylaws.

TKD Register

The WTF Taekwondo Federation of British Columbia is the only governing Taekwondo body in B.C. that is sanctioned to send athletes for participation in the Olympic Games, World Taekwondo Championships, World Junior Taekwondo Championships, World Cup Taekwondo Games, Pan-American Games, Canadian National Championships, and Canadian Junior National Championships.
