The 2017 WA State Meet hosted by Skydive York and proudly supported by the West Australian Parachute Council will offer the following events:
4 way FS - Inter & Open
8 way FS - Inter & Open
2 Way VFS - Inter & Open
4 Way VFS - Open
Freestyle (solo + camera)
Wingsuit Acro
Prices for registration are $88 per person and team prices include the camera man registration. Please get Team Captains to register and pay on behalf of the team.
Teams of individuals that wish to register for multiple events will only pay $33 per person rego for the second event as opposed to the standard $88 per person. Please use the 2nd event ticket option for this.
All prices include GST.
The DZ will be open from 0800 Thursday onwards.
- Friday 22nd 8pm- Draw to be posted online
- Once draw posted no jumps permitted and no tunnel flights for practice.
- Saturday 23rd from 7am - Competitors meeting before first jump
- Saturday 8am start time for competition jumps
- Score sheets/results will be available online (Link will be provided)
- Based on how many teams and participants skill levels, 2way VFS will be split in “Inter” and “Open” category.
The proposed event outline is as follows:
Fri Sept 22 = Dive Draws 2000
Sat Sept 23 = Competitors Meeting & Rego 0700
Sun Sept 24 = Competition Commences 0800
Mon Sept 25 = Competition Concludes 1700
On Site Catering for all meals, breakfast lunch and dinner, snacks & drinks is available from the licensed bar and cafe // Outdoor BBQ facilities are available.
COACH BIOS:
WAPC State Coach Bruno Rumbo it will be helping in engineering the formations and also doing outside camera for the Freeflyer competitors, Bruno is the actual 2 Way VFS Open State Champion and also the 2 Way VFS Open Indoor Champion.

WAPC is proud to announce and bring all the way from the east coast one of the best formation Skydiver in Australia; Steph Vaughan is our quest for the State Competition and it will be helping the FS Competitors in engineering the formation and answering all the questions.
Interesting facts:
Started jumping in Goulburn at age 16, youngest participant on the 81way Aussie record in 1999, was one of the instructors on my Dad's AFF in 2000, travelled to the states when I was 21 and lived in a tent for 8 mths in Eloy so I could jump for dayz.
