All proceeds from the 2017 Race for Recovery benefit Susannah's House.

Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) is a condition in which a baby suffers from withdrawal symptoms after being exposed to substances such as pain medications or illicit drugs during the mother’s pregnancy. In 2016, the Tennessee Department of Health reported more than 1,000 cases, and the majority were concentrated in East Tennessee.

Susannah’s House exists to serve the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the mothers and their prenatally-exposed infants who are recovering from substance abuse. Our mission is to provide a source of hope and help to these mothers and their children.
