About the Event

The AntiEpic Gravel Grinder is a timed, single-day, open-road tour on dirt and gravel roads to the northeast of Monument, CO. This event starts and ends at the Pikes Peak Brewing in Monument, Colorado. You can ride whatever bike you’d like – gravel-specific, mountain bike, or road. Ride fast, ride social, ride however you’d like. Just remember: you only have 18 hours to complete the long-course and 9 hours to complete the short-course. Please keep in mind: it’s early May, so expect wind, cold, and possible rain, snow, and mud. Don't let the name fool you! This event is an EPIC Colorado Front Range classic and a great way to kick off your 2017 endurance cycling season!

Event highlights:

Long Course: 200 miles, 10000 feet, 18 hour time limit. $25 cost recovery fee + RMCC membership ($25/year, available through the RMCC mainpage)

Short Course: 76 miles, 5000 feet, 9 hour time limit, FREE for RMCC members.
