Douglas Behan, DSW, LCSW is a clinical social worker and psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience as a clinician, teacher, and program administrator. He is the Director of Continuing Education and an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice at the Rutgers University School of Social Work, where he coordinates the curriculum for advanced clinical courses and oversees the nations largest university-based social work CE program. He has been intrigued and guided by the common factors of psychotherapy since first learning about them as an undergraduate in the 1980s.
