***Teams will not be allowed to use the D1 Nation Cheer logo including:banners, rings, bows, t-shirts etc. without prior approval from the D1 Nation Cheer Board***
AGE GROUPS: 9U-12U
CHEER CERTIFICATION: ALL CHEELEADERS MUST HAVE ONE OF THE 3 TO PROPERLY IDENTIFY THEMSELVES: STATE ID, NATIONAL SPORTS ID, OR ZORTS.
CERTIFICATION: ALL TEAMS WILL CERTIFY 1 DAY PRIOR TO FIRST COMPETITION. TEAMS MUST HAVE OFFICIAL ROSTER WITH STATE ID. ALL CHEERLEADERS MUST BE PRESENT AT TIME OF CERTIFICATION. CHEERLEADERS CAN NOT BE ADDED AFTER THE FIRST COMPETITION. ALL CHEERLEADERS WILL BE ISSUED WRISTBANDS THAT MUST BE WORN THE ENTIRE COMPETITION! NO EXCEPTIONS!!
TEAMS: EVENT CONSIST OF 30 STATES. REPRESENT YOUR STATE AND GO HOME CHAMPS
Coaches will be selected by D1 Nation State Director. Coaching staffs have the final say on all participants.
Practice: Teams will practice twice a week until closer to the competion.
PRELIMINARIES, SEMI-FINALS, AND FINALS
D1 NATION CHEER reserves the right to determine if a preliminary, semi-final, or final round will be necessary. There may be a preliminary competition help in some categories. All divisions with only one round prior to the finals will be classified as a semi-final. 50% of the teams in each group will advance to the next round and will perform in reverse rank order for the final competition. If the teams are tied in the advancement order, the team that competed first in the preliminary or semi-final round will compete second to the tied team in finals. In the event of a tie for the final spot advancing, both teams that are tied will move on. Tournament officials will have full authority to make the vinal determination of the number of teams selected to advance to the next round.
AWARDS:
We will award each cheerleader with an ALL AMERICAN medal.
