About the Event

Join Colorado Ayurvedic Medical Association (COLORAMA) for our 1st Annual Colorado Ayurveda Conference. 

We are excited to offer a two-day conference with an opportunity to earn 10 PACE credits in our own backyard drawing from the expertise of practitioners in Colorado.

Friday events are held in Boulder at the Unity of Boulder Church which is located at 2855 Folsom St, Boulder, CO 80304.

Saturday events are held in Denver at the The Co-Op at 1st which is located at 5045 W 1st Ave, Denver, CO 80219.

Alyssa Megeath CD(DONA), Certified Birth and Ayurvedic Trained Postpartum Doula, has served growing families for over a decade, working in patient advocacy, medical insurance billing, education, and outcomes. She has a B.A. in Biology with a concentration in pre-medicine from Regis College in Weston, MA. She works with Balanced Beginnings Doulas, averaging about 1-2 births a week, primarily in a hospital setting, as well as with a non-profit organization that supports mothers and families with limited resources.

Renay Oshop began her academic career as a biologist, and held a faculty position for five years at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where she specialized in early computational molecular biology. She subsequently attended Dr. Vasant Lad's Ayurvedic Institute, including 6 months of training in India. Larisa V. H. Sinegina, AD (NAMA), is the founder and clinical director of Satvik Herbs Inc., as well as a creator of inspired Ayurvedic formulations. She studied European botanical healing with her aunt, a midwife, and received a 4-year nursing diploma in 1992 at Kiev’s Medical School #1. She worked for 7 years as an ER nurse caring for women with complicated pregnancies and births, and as a holistic nurse in the neurology department where she utilized homeopathic and herbal healing methods, in Kiev, Ukraine. Dr. Sinegina was also trained in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, as well as Gestalt Therapy, and worked for many years in New York as a family therapy counselor. Since 2008, she has worked as Ayurvedic cooking instructor for RMIYA, Sacred Windows, and Ayurved Sadhana Vidyalaya.
