Friday, 19 July 2019 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM EST

Join 1Planet for a fun evening sampling some of the most delicious plant-based meals we've come across during our #MeatlessMonday posts. We're excited to share veggie-based creations that are good for you and for the planet. You can choose from a selection of vegetarian dinner dishes to pair with wine or our special Climate Cooler beverage. We will be joined by friends from Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) who will share their expertise and tips on the benefits of a plant-based diet for our health and the environment.

We are offering two ticket options. A $35 per person admission only ticket and a $100 per person ticket which includes admission PLUS entry into the raffles we will be having that night for cookbooks, dining out, and other fun things. The proceeds from this event will go to support 1Planet's efforts on behalf of our targeted 2019 Virginia General Assembly candidates.

Special Guests:
Betsy Wason is Vice President of Development for Physicians Committe for Responsible Medicine (PCRM). Earlier in her career she was the Director of Development for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

Kara Blank-Gonzalez is a PCRM Food for Life instructor who teaches plant-based nutrition and cooking classes.
