The Knights of Columbus Ralph Cerny Council 12553, will be Hosting the 15th Annual Ric Hoff Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament. The tournament will be a four-player best ball scramble at the Lantana Golf Club in Argyle. Team prizes will be awarded for first, second & third place. Individual contests will include: Putting, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin, plus a 2019 vehicle hole-in-one prize from Ric Wick of Classic of Denton.
The Knights of Columbus is a Group of Catholic Gentlemen that through their commitment to Service are able to provide great benefit to the Communities they serve. The proceeds from the 15th annual Ric Hoff Memorial Golf Tournament will benefit the Ric Hoff Memorial Scholarship Fund.The Ric Hoff Memorial Scholarship Fund has granted 54 scholarship since 2005 — totaling over $38,000 — supporting the children of departed or disabled Brother Knights of St. Mark’s Council 12553, based on financial need, merit and character, provided the student plans or is enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year educational institution and the student is a practicing Catholic. The scholarship fund also provides Honorarium Scholarships to other eligible students on the same criteria. Priority consideration is given to high school seniors of current St. Mark Council 12553 Knights, then to any college students of a parishioner at St. Mark.
