Gender stereotyping is defined differently by different cultures around the globe. This presentation will cover gender stereotyping by different cultures and myths about gender-based violence/stereotyping. Implications of gender stereotyping for social work practice will be discussed. Social Workers interested in learning about psychological evaluations that support immigrants seeking a legal pathway to citizenship. This presentation will cover gender stereotyping by different cultures and myths about gender-based violence/stereotyping. Implications of gender stereotyping for social work practice will be discussed.

- State two examples of gender stereotyping.
- Identify at least two myths about gender-based violence.
- Identify two implications of gender stereotyping for social work practice.
