The sub-specialties of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus encompass many subjects in the field of ophthalmology and it is difficult to stay abreast of new developments. We meet every two years to refresh and update our understanding of children’s eye disorders and strabismus in adults and children.
This year in Vancouver, we will address many issues including the emerging and increasing impact of Artificial Intelligence in pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric glaucoma, and other causes of disc cupping in childhood, evidence-based management of cataract in infancy, the sensory implications and management guidelines in exotropia, different approaches to the treatment of superior oblique palsy and see practical demonstration of strabismus surgery techniques, from basic to advanced.
Once again, we have gathered an international group of superb speakers, leaders in the fields of strabismus and pediatric ophthalmology. Our invited speakers and local faculty will share their knowledge and insights over this two-day conference. We will celebrate the return of in-person meetings in a relaxed environment where the emphasis is on discussion and exchange of ideas in a milieu which fosters conversation and good fellowship.
We hope that you will be able to join us for what promises to be a memorable event!
