The 14th Annual Zonta Walks for Women Breast Cancer Awareness Walk & 5K Run will be held as a VIRTUAL event to be held at your convenience.
Since cancer does not stop during a pandemic, that is not an option for us either. As a service organization, we believe in the importance of continuing our event as best we can in these uncertain times. Therefore, we are asking you to join us VIRTUALLY in this inspiring event that unites the entire community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about the importance of early detection and raise funds to fight this disease.

Pre-registration - Required
Walkers/runners are required to pre-register by September 28, 2020. Our club is offering t-shirts to the first 250 registered participants - so register early.
Online registration deadline is Friday October 9, 2020, with a VIRTUAL event this year, there will be no in-person registration.
Breast Cancer survivors registration is free. Just click the Yes check box when registering if a survivor and choose the check payment option so you do not have to provide online payment.
T-Shirts
T-shirts are available to the first 250 registered participants and details on pick-up will be forth coming. Please watch our Zonta Club of Alpena Facebook page and other announcements.
Participants
Everyone is welcome; women, men, children and dogs.
Teaming Up
Families, businesses, churches and service clubs are encouraged to build teams. Just enter your team name when registering.
Entry Fee
Cost is $20 per person. Children 14 and under are free but will not receive a t-shirt.
Payments can be made by registering online using debit/credit cards or by registering online and mailing a check to Zonta Club of Alpena, PO Box 185 Alpena, MI 49707.
All entry fees and donations raised by participants directly benefit local organizations that provide breast health services.
Donations
We encourage you to collect donations from friends and family members as so many in our community are touched by cancer.
Refunds
All registrations are final. No refunds will be issued.
