This property is available to us through our continued membership in the Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs.
There is a $20 donation per rig on the property. Please bring cash. The land owner meets us to collect it. The land owner's name is Nelson Dunn ( Chip ).
The Vermont Badlands is an Northeast Jeep Organization private property located in Stamford VT. The folks over there have worked on this property and used it for years, and have been fortunate enough to be able to offer it to other clubs, too.
The access road to the property is blocked with a large cattle gate, It is secured with a chain, please close the gate when your group leaves the property.
The property offers some stock like trails ( 32's open /open ) all the way to 40+ Locked Locked. The trails are clearly marked with wooden signs and a trail map is available.
Trailer parking is available, The access road through the property has some steep sections. During normal conditions a 2WD tow rig would not have any issues getting to the main parking spot. However tow rigs that cannot make the hill, can park on the side of the access road. Please use 4WD if your tow rig is equipped to avoid rutting out the hill.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our club members to come and enjoy this excellent property. There's some really good photos I've seen over the years. Be prepared for blue trails with black and red trails for those that want it.
