Let us cut straight to the chase….if you are a teacher then your mental health can’t afford for you to not join us in St. Louis on April 4, 2020, for our third stop during our 2019-2020 Teacher Self-Care Tour!
So now you may be thinking "what the heck is the Teacher Self-Care Conference?”
The short answer is, it’s the ultimate self-care event for teachers.
The long answer is so much better though. The Annual Teacher Self-Care event is the only conference that is created by teachers for teachers with an intimate focus on TEACHER SELF-CARE.

When you are here…you are at home.

If you are a new teacher, you get to network and collaborate with seasoned teachers who understand the mental pressures of being a teacher.
If you are a veteran teacher you get to be in the company of fellow teachers who are eager to help their fellow teachers find mental peace.
No matter where you are in teaching, you will learn from EDUCATIONAL GURUS who are speaking to the spirit of teachers.

So wherever you are in your journey - we got what you need to level up from a mental health perspective!

During this epic one-day event we will be covering:

  • The latest strategies to address the INCREASING DEMANDS of teaching and learning.
  • How to leverage YOUR EXPERIENCE and skills to address the gaps in how you take care of yourself.
  • Strategies for making YOU a priority while still working to be the best teacher you can be.
  • How to build a toolbox of strategies that will help you REASSESS WHAT YOU NEED to make the current school year the best one yet.
  • Much, much more

That doesn’t even take into consideration the game-changing nuggets you will pick up just from being in a room with fellow teachers from around the world and who genuinely want to see you succeed. Life-long relationships are formed at Teacher Self-Care events - and their value is PRICELESS.

Teacher Self-Care Conference

http://www.teacherselfcare.org

In May 2015, The Educator’s Room publicly launched the Teacher Self- Care Conference in an effort to undercut the devastating bi-effects of stress on teachers. Determined to help teachers manage the stress and unrelenting responsibilities of what it means to be a teacher, The Teacher Self-Care Conference was launched. The average teacher makes roughly 1,500 decisions per day. With the overwhelming weight of these decisions and lack of training on how to process them, there’s no wonder that teachers are citing stress as one of the major decisions to leave education. But what if things could be different? What if teachers had a safe space to collaborate with others around mental health? Through structured programming, self-care resources and research, the Teacher Self-Care Conference equips educators with strategies and resources to navigate through the highs and lows of the classroom, while ensuring that their mental health remains at the forefront of not only their careers but their lives.
